    About Context Architecture Inc.

    Carolyn Hunter started her career in New York City, working for large architectural firms specializing in convention hotels, and schools/athletic facilities, respectively. She was then hired to move to Singapore to become Design Team Leader for the Convention Hotel and Project Commons portions of the Singapore Convention and Exhibition Center.

    Since coming to Durango in 1992, Carolyn has worked for Southwest Housing Solutions (as a VISTA volunteer), the La Plata County Planning Department as Case Planning Supervisor, Ocean Properties, Ltd (a hotel developer), and IndaCAD drafting and project management services.

    In 2001 Ms. Hunter founded Context Architecture, Inc, which developed quickly into a successful local firm with a diverse clientele, designing commercial, multi-family and custom residential projects.
